[Qgis-user] grass shell in Windows 0.9.1 version

Hello all:

I find that on WinXP computers, when I open a grass shell from the GRASS 
Toolbox, the characters appear so widely spaced that it's *very* hard to 
use. See the attached image for an example.  Entering any command with 
its options runs over three lines. And then when the command runs, 
output or error messages are nearly impossible to read.

I flipped thru the various msys batch files trying to find some hint how 
to set a different font, but couldn't find anything. Can anyone give me 
a nudge in the right direction to fix this?
