Hi!

I think you mean the Dxf2Shp Converter available as a Plugin.
I'm not sure it it is already in Metis but in the new preview1 there it
is surely selectable allthough I've made some strange experiences
especially with 3d-dxf files import.
But it is surely worth a try.
