[Qgis-user] DEM matching to points

I have the GTOPO30 digital elevation model as a georeferenced raster in qgis and a file of lat long coordinates I want to get the elevation of, how do I do it?
The points plot out fine over the DEM, they are clearly matched up correctly but how to get the value of the height out of the raster image and put it into the points table.
