[Qgis-user] Clip from Rectangle defined by Coordinates

Hi Andreas,
I tried the following option and it was successful.

First construct a grid with the following option by using the required max,
min lat-long values
TOOLS - RESEARCH TOOLS - VECTOR GRID

and you have to specified the grid spacing (otherwise, it will not take).

it will create a grid for you according to the specified coordinate extent,
but later we need to dissolve the remaining grids inside the boundingbox.
And that's it, your BoundingBox polygon is ready which can be used for any
clipping operations.
