[Qgis-user] python support disabled in windows

Hello

I'm using QGIS-1.0.0preview2-Setup.exe (even though attached screenshot
shows Preview1) on WindowsXP SP3

Python support is disabled for some reason.
"python console" item is not in the "plugins" menu as shown in screenshots.

I have downloaded a new copy of the installer a couple of times,
including onto a separate computer, and each install replicates the
problem.

Can anybody please help?

Perhaps somebody working on the windows build could have a look?

Thanks
Mark
