yes, it is described that way in the manual and it is also defined that way in
the "settings" => "configure shortcuts" of trunk. I guess the developer, who
added that short cut will be able to answer your question - I am not.

yes, but there should be a default short key setting for this.

I think that's how it works. You can somewhere and the new center is also the
zooming center, or do I missunderstand?
