[Qgis-user] PostGIS layers invalid in 1.0.1

Hi list,

I've been using Qgis in the 1.0 previews without problems. Now, with the 1.0.1 release via the online installer (on WinXP), my PostGIS layers do not load anymore. Nothing in the database changed, so this is probably a QGis issue.

The error message is:

 Invalid Layer
"public"."tbl_soilconcs" (the_geom) sql= is an invalid layer and cannot be loaded.

First, I suspected an OID problem (the database tables do not have an OID column). Adding an OID to one of the PostGIS tables does not make it work, but loading that table gives me another error message:

 Invalid Layer
"public"."tbl_bodemconcs_withoids" (the_geom) sql=GeometryType("the_geom") IN ('POINT','MULTIPOINT') is an invalid layer and cannot be loaded.

So, the "sql=" part is different in this case and contains a WHERE clause.

Can anyone give me a clue on how to fix this? I found another reference to a similar problem over here: http://forum.qgis.org/viewtopic.php?t=227, but it doesn't help me much further...

Thanks a bunch for any ideas,
wwwald
