[Qgis-user] Problem on resizing QgisCanvas

Hi All,
I am using Qgis 1.1.0.Actually i am using
QgsMapCanvas<http://doc.qgis.org/stable/classQgsMapCanvas.html#fe038b642bd804e350979c7e201a056b>in
my Qt GUI.
When user resizes the GUI,
QgsMapCanvas<http://doc.qgis.org/stable/classQgsMapCanvas.html#fe038b642bd804e350979c7e201a056b>get
resized along with the GUI.But the layers on it goes
invisible.Drawings
are not visible inside the mapCanvas.It gives the error like
*QPainter::begin: Cannot paint on a null pixmap
QPainter::end: Painter not active, aborted

I got stuck here really.Can any one please help me out.
