Well, regarding the RGB Composition plugin, it requires the gdal-python lib.
It's easy to install in windows vista using the OSGeo4W installer.

I've tryed to install it on my vista as a test (I've written in ubuntu) and
it's not working for some reason (even with the libraries installed).
I'm going to check this bug on windows vista ASAP.
