An example using ps.map of GRASS
http://forest2002.essc.org.ph/test_map/map/solano_2508.pdf
The maps were designed for large-format printing (30 x 24 inches)
All data layers from grass dbase. ps.map is highly customizable
especially for making printouts in batches.
I had to use a graphics software for the other map elements (legend,
scale, borders, ec.) and then call the eps file within ps.map.
