If you use windows Vista/Seven and you'll get problems/errors using the
gdal tools plugin, then you'll need to:

*) use the "dev" version of qgis that you can install with the osgeo4w
installer

*) delete the %SOGEO4W_ROOT%\apps\gdal-16\bin\gdalplugins\gdal_GRASS.dll
file
