[Qgis-user] line pattern rendering

hello all

I have a problem, that when I print out maps containing line patterns 
from print composer, the lines are rendered so thin. On the paper, it's 
almost not possible to see the patterns anymore. if I fill with my own 
textures, I can not change the colors anymore...

Is there a way to make those lines thicker? or any other suggestions?
