[Qgis-user] problem in ogr converter

hello

I encountered a problem in ogr converter when I tried to convert "gmt's xyz  
textfile" to shp file.
in dataset input it says: "Could not establish connection  
to: '/home/orkun/gmt_work2/pro_cont.xyz'"

how can I overcome this problem ?
