[Qgis-user] sharing qgis training materials (a work in progress)

Hi,

We are offering short courses for free and open  source geospatial
technologies for Philippine fossgeo practitioners:

Training materials were culled mostly from QGIS manual and Tim et.
al's A Gentle Intro to GIS.  Most of the content are pretty much
"standard"  GIS concept and exercise.  The difference as we have
observed, is by using local datasets, participants can appreciate the
concepts and technology better.

Anyway, I'm sharing the materials (temporary link):

The link to downloads (software and dataset) are  not available
outside our local network, but you can easily substitute any dataset
of your choice.  If you have comments on the structure and content,
just send a message.

This is a work in progress and we hope to distribute them to the
public once we feel it's "ready".  Big thanks to the QGIS community
great application.
