[Qgis-user] google layers plugin projection

Maning,
The way I'm doing it is to setup a new QGIS project using a default projection of EPSG:900913 (Google Mercator) and enable 'on the fly' projection. Then I open my shapefile (not raster), in whatever projection it is, and display and size it to the wanted window. Finally, I use the Google Layers plugin to retrieve and display a Google raster that fits the window.
Work like a charm for me!
