Hi Horst,
you're completely right, but in the GUI (e.g.
gt:BufferFeatureColletion) I can see all the option but I am not able
to select and choose nothing but the buffer value.

As I see geoserver WPS plugin is a prototype, perhaps there could be
something wrong in it.
