Hi list,
I recently did an update from Ubuntu 9.10 to 10.04. After compling Qgis (which works fine, no errors where found), it now says that Qgis could not load pyQgis because of:
Couldn't load PyQGIS.
Python support will be disabled.
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "", line 1, in
RuntimeError: the sip module implements API v7.0 but the qgis.core
module requires API v7.1
Python version:
2.6.5 (r265:79063, Apr 16 2010, 13:28:26)
[GCC 4.4.3]
I compile just Qgis myself, the rest of the system is out of the (synaptic) box. As repositories I use the "normal" canonical and UbuntuGIS.
I thought after updating the ubuntu to 10.04, my system is up to date. But obviously I missed something.
Anyone an idea, what I have to do/update, to get PyQgis back to work?
regards
Cédric
