[Qgis-user] Connecting to postgresql

Hi to all,
with the new qgis version 1.6.0 compiled from svn vs.14222
on my debian squeeze i get this error when i connect to 
postgresql database:
Connesso al database con successo, ma non è possibile accedere ad alcuna tabella.

Messaggio di errore restituito dal database
ERROR:  cannot cast type regtype to text
RIGA 1: ...pg_class.oid and (pg_attribute.atttypid::regtype::text IN ('...
                                                             ^

so if i click ok on the message box i'm able to see only the common geographic layers,
but not the view layers.

I try also with an older qgis version 1.4.0 and it works fine.

How can i solve the problem?
