Thanks Bob and Deb, it worked alright,
I will find if there is another easy way when I get time,

Thanks again

Silly me...I meant to say make the border color the same as the fill.

I want to illustrate what I'm talking about. Currently it is a pain to:
1) Set renderer to "Graduated", select Column to classify, enter
number of classes, color ramp, etc then hit Classify.
2) double click on a class symbol to bring up the Symbol Selector.
3) click the "Change..." button to bring up the Symbol properties"
4) click the "Color" button and add color to Custom Color and click "OK"
5) click on "Border Color" and select Custom Color that was set in 3)
and click "OK"
6) click Symbol properties "OK"
7) click "Symbol Selector" "OK"
8) Go to 1) and select next class

If there is an easier way to do this, please let me know.

What would be nice is:
0) Set renderer to "Graduated", select Column, enter number of
classes, color ramp, click on a new button "Set border color to fill",
etc then hit Classify.
2) There are no step two...you're done! All class symbol borders are
now the same color as the fill. You no longer need to set "No Pen" on
each class (which leaves ugly gaps)

I'm not sure if QGIS can currently do this with the existing API, but
it would be great for QGIS 2.0 :-)
