[Qgis-user] Calculating Shrotes Route

Hi!!! Howz doing all of u??? Dear Members can any1 provide me the QGIS query through which i can calculate a shortest distance between two points??
Actually i have a line shape file of BUS Routes and a Point Shape file of BUS Stops, now i want to query in such a way that i assign the bus steps name qgis will return me the shortest path(which will be a line shape file)... Any idea about this???
