[Qgis-user] creating screenshots w/ QGIS at command line & adding data from spatial DB on the fly

Hi List


Does anyone know if it possible to programmatically/dynamically add a
PostGIS or Oracle vector data source to an existing QGIS project file
containing other static data layers on the command line (so as to
generate an automated screenshot). The database layer will need to
contain only a subset of features defined by a where clause, such as:
WHERE fac_id = '123' or fac_id = '345'.  If it is possible, a pointer
to some example syntax would be much appreciated.
