[Qgis-user] QGIS -> MySQL -> Mapserver ??

Right-click on the layer, save it as ESRI shapefile.
Open the shapefile and from Vector menu > Geometry tools > Lines to polygon

If your line layer consists of segments, you might get odd results. Better
to join them up using JoinLines from GIS-Lab repo.
