Hi Ramon,
If I understood it right, that's what I did (because, as you said, the join
is virtual). I just created a new shapefile which had the joined fields in
the attributes table.
Then I opened the .dbf file in excel.

I think there might be a step missing.
The new join tool doesn't create a new physical layer, but a virtual one.
So to make it visible outside qgis, you need to save the layer you joined to
first.
I'd save it as some new name, and you can save it directly into CSV if you
wish.
