[Qgis-user] raster cost distance scripting

I have been using ArcMap for several years and I am just beginning to learn
QGIS.  Can someone please orient me to the following:
--cost distance tools (raster based)
--python scripting tutorial that shows me how to string tools together in a
python script(e.g. conditional tool, cost distance, raster calculator)
