[Qgis-user] Problem saving ESRI shape files

Hi!
I get the following editing shape files using QGIS 1.7.1/ windows 7:


-          After editing and saving a file, if I use the Info tool, Qgis often crashes.

-          If I save a shape file in Qgis and then try to open it in other software (FME), I get the following error message: Shape file and DBF do not match

Do have any solutions or answers regarding these?
