[Qgis-user] mobile apps

Curious about status of mobile apps developed for QGIS.  I see there was some action last summer, and a note that there was an Android app called "Necessitas" launched...but I can't find it in the market on my 'Droid.
 
I would be interested in launching a project that utilizes mobile technology on the QGIS platform.
