[Qgis-user] Geospatial Modelling Environment and QGIS collaboration?

I've recently got acquitted of the Geospatial Modelling Environment

which currently uses a combination of R and ArcGIS
to perform a very interesting suit of tasks

The author states that
"Switch to open source GIS engine. In the long term, switch to an open
source GIS engine like SAGA, GRASS, or uDIG/Geotools, and make GME
open source and cross-platform."

I wonder if anybody from the devs team could actually approach him to
invite him to join the QGIS project.
