[Qgis-user] RT plugin installation

Hello everybody.

I can not install the of RT SQL layer plugin  from Faunalia repository :
This extension requires a newer version of Quantum GIS (at least 1.6.0).

Do I need in this case try to install QGIS 1.7. How in this case without
losing the extension that I installed on my QGIS 1.6-trunk.

In the meantime, if anyone know a plugin that can help me display PostGIS /
SpatiaLite from custom queries that would help me.
