[Qgis-user] How to join shapefile tables via their FIDs?

Hello,
 
I'm trying to join two shapefile tables, relating them by their FID.  In QGIS, shapefile FIDs are not listed as a relate-able field.  However, in Arcmap, the FIDs are available for use in joining.
 
How do I join two shapefile tables via their FIDs?
