I noticed my error when QGIS upgraded to 1.7.3 as well, but never got
around to reporting it, then 1.7.4 came out soon afterwards. It opened and
ran fine in v 1.7.2
I will check my python version when I get home tonight and see if that
could be it if not, I may rollback to 1.7.2.
I'll follow your forum thread for updates as well.
