[Qgis-user] opening attribute table takes 45 seconds - normal?

Hi all,

I have a PostGIS table with 2,6 million records.
Opening a attribute table takes 45 seconds.
Is this normal?

Does the QGIS load all the records or fids when opening the table? Is
this necessary? Could it just load for example 1000 first records?
