[Qgis-user] Qgis 1.8 : How to do an Unilateral buffer

Hello,

I'm working on Cameroon coastal layer shapefile and i would like generate
several unilateral buffers : buffers only on one side (toward ocean) and no
toward continent.

How to do that on Qgis 1.8 ?
