[Qgis-user] PostGIS layers user access control from QGIS

Hi People,

Just wondering if it is possible to control access to specific tables
on PostGIS from QGIS. For example allow write access to specific
layers on postGIS from QGIS?.

Right now i am removing the digitizing menu from QGIS for users i
don't want to be editing tables but i wonder if there is a better way
to do this and allow writing access for specific layers/tables.

I looked at the load postGIS plugin and there is no method of
restricting access to specifc layers.

Has any tried to control access from QGIS?. It would be interesting to
find out.
