[Qgis-user] Print Composer: Best Practices

Hi Gordon,

The PDF big file/slow display issues are a result of a bug in the
underlying qt library. The most recent QGIS versions 1.8 and 1.9x have a
patch applied to work around this bug.

What version on what platform are you using?
