I have been using QGIS v1.6 through to 1.7.4 for quite a while on ArchLinux and the Open Street Map tool/plugin appeared faithfully but after Arch updates trashed my xfce desktop once too often I switched to Ubuntu and the UbuntuGIS repo and now I can't find any trace of the OSM tool, what might I have done wrong????
