[Qgis-user] Problems with qgis 1.8 on win7

After installing qgis1.8 on win7 I have found the following problems:
1. A bad allocation error at reading a project saved from qgis 1.8 on
ubuntu 10.04
2. The second time I've started qgis, the layers list does not work:
2.1. The icons defining the layer as vector or raster are missing
2.2. The right button does not work (the submenu does not come up),
although the tools can be launched from
the top menu (i.e. Layers/Properties).

Does anybody else have found similar problems?
