[Qgis-user] QGIS crashes when adding a plugin from QGIS Plugin Manager

Dear list members,

I am using QGIS 1.8.0 in MacOS 10.7.4 (Lion)

When I try to add any plugin from QGIS Plugin Manager, QGIS crashes and
close.

Also, adding a new scalebar is not working in the composer.
