[Qgis-user] Labels

Hi Anita,

Thanks for your prompt reply.
Ok ,  "ID" || ';' || "AREA" || ' ha'  works. With ';' as a wrapper.
The result, though, is unexpected : there are 16 (4x4) boxes drawn around
the label.
There is no Output preview.

(1.8.0 / Windows 7x64)

Regards.

Hi Philippe,

QGIS 1.8 comes with expression-based labeling which supports exactly your
use case and many more.
Click the "..." button right besides "label this layer with".

Best wishes,

Anita

Hi all,

How can I display both the id and the area of a polygon as a label? New
colum and field calculator to build the desired string?
More generally, I wish I could select more than one field and choose
separators to define the label of an entity.

Regards.
