[Qgis-user] Landsat scene as GeoTIFF

I'd guess a plugin has been installed and forgotten about.

There's one with a fairly obvious name that might fit the bill. 

(also your correspondent is using master/1.9, so if  you do install the plugin the menu will turn up in your plugin menu - not in Layers)
