AW: [Qgis-user] qgis crash when exporting to pdf, svg or image

Have just downloaded and installed QGIS 1.6.0 as windows .exe installer to proceed as suggested.
However, my qgis project file won't open in the older version. Version 1.6.0 crashes immediately.
Are project files in general not downward compatible??

I answered to the same question minutes ago. If you are using Windows it seems to be a memory problem. It would be important to test also qgis
1.6 because I have reports that this issue surfaced in qgis 1.7.x, and so it can be a regression.
