On my debian sid, qgis 1.7.5 is compiled with :
gdal 1.9.0
postgis 9.1.3
spatialite 2.4.0
qt 4.8.1

from debian repository !

$ uname -a
Linux pcplat53 3.2.0-2-amd64 #1 SMP Sat May 12 23:08:28 UTC 2012 x86_64 
GNU/Linux

$ apt-cache policy qgis
