[Qgis-user] Strange wms behaviour

Hi 

I noticed a strange wms behaviour with one specific wms server. After adding a layer from the server the message in the status bar shows "Getting map via WMS." But the map won't show up. And the message in the status bar never changes. In the QGIS debug messages I found:

The request works in a browser and with wget. Any ideas?
