I'd opt for bottom posting, trimmed quotes, plain text (no HTML), no
thread-hijacking, no Ccs for subscribed parties, short signatures (max. 4 lines
introduced with "-- ") and only English traffic on this list.

But that's much too old-school for the world ;)
