Hi,

this is a 'normal error' when you run master. Because of changes in the 
api of current development version, plugin writers have to upgrade there 
plugins.

You did the right thing to issue a ticket in the bug tracker (of the 
plugin!). Now the plugin writer/manager will see it and hopefully update 
your plugin.

But if you are able to also run the stable QGIS (version 1.8 at this 
moment), the plugin should work fine in there.
