[Qgis-user] Problem installing Geotag and Import Photos plugin

Hello everyone from snowy cold Italy! I have a problem with installing the
Geotag and Import Photos plugin. On my portable, I've downloaded and
installed the plugin without difficulty using the usual Python Plugin
installer. On my PC however, for some reason the Geotag plugin does not
appear in the list of plugins available for installation. The version of
QGIS is identical in both cases (1.8.0 Lisboa), as are all the other data
in the information panel. Both computers use Windows XP. What could be the
problem stopping me from viewing/installing the plugin on my PC? Thanks for
