[Qgis-user] change project crs

Hi,

When I create a new project there does not seem to be the option in the
project properties to set the CRS to something else then the default (using
QGIS-master / 1.9 on Ubuntu 13.04). Is that correct?

I know it is possible to change the CRS by selecting a layer and use the
option to set the project CRS from the layer. However, it would still be
good if one could set the CRS of a new project in the properties dialogue.
And I thought that used to be possible.. Or am I missing something here?
