Hey Matt,

Do you have a geometry_columns table?

Subject: [Qgis-user] QGIS SQL server problem

I'm trying to connect to a sql server table. When I am editing and select
test connection this tells me I have connected successfully. However when I
then try and open the newly created connection I get the following:

[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][DBNETLIB]SQL Server does not exist or
access denied. [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][DBNETLIB]ConnectionOpen
(Connect()). QODBC3: Unable to connect

Any ideas what this means?

I can connect to the database via management studio and I can also connect
to other databases via Qgis
