[Qgis-user] gaps between polygons

Is not so simple to resolve this.

Firstly is necessary to understand what mean "fix the gap"

There is several solutions:

add several little polygons with all attributes set to NULL  to fill the 
gaps.
Or add little polygons with specific attributes for this gaps.
Otherwise move the vertex of polygon left to resolve the gap.
Or move the vertex of polygon right to have the same result.

And what is the limit so under it it is a gap and over it it is a 
correct isle ?

And more probbly if you has some gap you could have some partial overlaps.
You can render using only boundary to see if you has they.

And what solution to resolve overlap ?
clip the overlapped portion, split it in another third polygon, and so on...

Just only to say that the solution is no easy.
