[Qgis-user] Graticules and projections

Hello,

I am currently working with QGIS 1.8.0, and would like to build map
compositions that can plot the proper latitude and longitude graticules,
irrespective of the projection used.

Currently it is only possible to use the Geographic "projection" to plot
the Lat-Long graticules properly, in all other cases it seems to just
create a standard grid in projected meters.

Is there any way around this issue, or are there plans to incorporate this
functionality in a new version. ArcGIS has had this for ages so it can't be
that hard.

Any advice is welcome.
