[Qgis-user] QGIS on Windows 8 with GPS

AFAIK Windows 8 doesn't provide ways to expose the Location API as a
virtual COM port (it's a feature that many users are asking).
A solution would be the use of a driver to expose the Location API as NMEA
provider.
